After seeing the wall of Spydies post, I wondered if anyone else was thinking of a Spyderco picture archive. For pics, I used to rely on James Mattis at Chai Cutlery before he passed on. James had some of the clearest pics of knives you'd find. Someone actually sent me his website on a CD. But of course, the newer Spydies aren't on there.
Sal, how would you feel about such a project? If you'd see it as competing with The Spyderco Story, then maybe it wouldn't be such a good idea. But I was only thinking of a picture archive--not a historical text. It would be kind of fun to try and amass a photo archive of past and present Spydies. I'd be happy to contribute all the great pics from James' work.
