Can anyone recommend an image hosting site ? I have been through three of them now, and they have all gone to the dark side.

Thanks.

I've been using Imgur for a couple years now. It's free and hasn't let me down yet.

I just post all my stuff as Hidden (not Public), since I'm not interested in sharing it with Imgur's community and they're equally uninterested in seeing it.

Photobucket screwed me over big-time a couple of years ago (and a lot of other people), so I would not use them if you held a gun to my head. Maybe others have a better experience. If you can afford it, buying a gold membership here will allow you to post photos directly from your album or desktop. Not sure if Basic membership gets you this privilege.

Hi… Thanks for the reply. I have used Imgur in the past, but lately it seems to have morphed into a social media site. I can’t get the BB codes I need to post pics. Am I missing something?

Yes. You can use Imgur without engaging with the social layer at all. How to grab a link depends on your device, but for me on desktop I right-click the image, choose to open it in a new tab, copy that URL, and then paste it here.

There are other ways to do it, though.

Hands down, use imgur.com. Just use imgur.com. USE IMGUR.COM

So easy. They generate the BBCODE for you - just upload the image, copy the bbcode, paste into your thread, huzzah. Create an account there, you can even organize your images into albums to share. So easy!

Since the photobucket fiasco I've used imgur. Works well on my windows pc using chrome as well as my android devices. I put together some instructions for a member on imgur with Android. If that would help you, post here and I'll try and post it. As Dadpool Dadpool posted, upload your images as hidden and you can avoid the social media aspect.
