Image posting has changed?

When I go to insert an image and check 'From URL' then uncheck 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally' the buttons below that say, 'OK' and 'Cancel' disappear, making it impossible to insert the image. This just starting happening lately. If I leave the box marked, 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally' checked it still doesn't work.
 
What are you saying, 1234? That it's somehow my fault? Figures, you think everything is my fault!:(

I have an issue sometimes when I go to post a thread and then nothing is highlighted to insert an image, etc. I don't know if it is the same problem you are having, but the way I was able to make it work so the image button became highlighted again was to exit the posting thread page (back arrow) and then renter the "post a thread". It seems to fix it, but I don't know why! Hope this helps...

It might be easier just to insert the url and image tags on your own. Once it changed that is how I started doing it, and it kept me from having to push thirty different buttons just to post up a pic. To post up an image, put this in front of the image URL
and that is it. So
url]
without the spaces before and after the url does this:

kittens.jpg
 
Ive found that if you go t the bottom right of the box and drag it bigger/smaller, the ok button reappears
