image size when attaching via URL ?

What is the maximum size a file can be to get added to a post via URL? I tweaked my image down to 176K and it's still saying image is too big …

I've no idea where it ends, but that image was about 1.85 meg.

If you post from another site, UNCHECK THE MARK 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally'.

That's your problem. It's also trying to save it on the BF server.
