That's a gorgeous knife.

One of the really outstanding features of Snody's knives are his handle designs. That knife is highly concealable, suitable for concealed neck-carry, concealed IWB carry and normal belt carry - without compromising either control or concealability.

I just bought the Snody-handled Ronin.

Now that is one cool name! I guess a fellow would be well heeled carrying that. LOL

I don't think that I'm that well heeled. :D

The bottom knife in that picture is mine.

Suerte,
What palenque means? And I speak the languange of Castilla, so the remaining of us are very confused. That is a very "elegante" knife. Is Mr. Snody accepting orders?

A 'palenque' is what Mexicans call a cockpit where roosters are fought. I'm not for sure what other "Latin Americans" call their pits. 'Well heeled' is an English / American term for wealthy that was derived from terminology used in the sport of cockfighting, like other words and sayings such as 'cockpit' and 'hackles up', where roosters with good quality spurs/gaffs (heels) were call 'well heeled'.

FWIW and AFAIK Palenque is also the name of a Mayan ruin in Chiapas, MX too.

Suerte,
Thanks for the translation and info. In some places the "palenque" is known as "redondel", because is basically a round ring.

If I am not mistaken Mike's designs are derived from FMA. If that is the case, palenque is the the filipino word (pidgin spanish spoken in the local dialect of tagalog) for market (wet market - where butchering occurs): market ----> kitchen. The design is similar to the tactical kitchen knives of Talmadge/Rinaldi fame, imho.
