Ontario is now producing the Camillus 1760 with a 420HC main blade. I have a fondness for this blade because I learned about knives on an Imperial Boy Scout, similar/same pattern. Nice to see someone picked it up.

I do not see it on the Ontario website. Where did you see this?

I saw it on a couple of online knife shops. chestnut ridge knife shop had it, as well as knifecenter. Its basically the 1760 with the Ontario blade stamp and lists 420HC as a blade material.

Hopefully they do a decent job on the heat treating. If properly tempered (like Buck used to do... maybe still does...), 420HC can be a nice blade steel.
