Simply amazing. I would coat everything I own with it. Thanks for sharing.
Crazy, isn't it. My 88 year old father in law emailed that to me. Same here, I would coat everything with it.

Wouldn't it be fun to coat a house then hire a painting contractor to paint it?!

Amazing product.

Saw this about a month ago, really cool stuff. My first thought was cookware, no more washing and scrubbing. I guess I'm just lazy like that :)

oh hell id be coating my hunting gear, boots, & car with this stuff....... how much is this stuff!!???

Wndshield, boots, knives, I don't know how cookware would work. For one thing if you did get it dirty it would be a son of a gun to wash.

Yeah, the possibilities are endless. It is expensive. Someone on BCUSA said it lasted 90-180 days, depending on the application.

Interesting stuff. I've had an eye open for the kind of promise this stuff may deliver for quite a while now. First and foremost is for the treatment of my own kit............... In addition, I've been curious about a pet hypothesis I've had regarding basic carbon steels at ho-hum hardness, or lower. I've numerous accounts on this forum that such steels are to be preferred because somehow they are tougher. And that jars with the weight of testimony to the lack of badly damaged knives during normal use. In fact the current trend seems to want lighter, thinner and potentially more fragile, under the guise of “if you're not an incompetent twerp you'd be surprised how far you can push a knife designed for cutting rather than beating”. That caused me to foster the “Mummy sewed my name in it” idea, and that rather than say 1095 at HRC 56 being preferred for practical materials advantage it was more about suffering a performance hit so that you could have a unique pattern of corrosion, a name tag if you will. The thought gathered even more momentum when I saw umpteen blades with deliberate larder generated graffiti on them. I figured that if I was wrong people would be taking these sorts of knives and coating them in something like this when they were still in a pristine state. This may not be exactly the product for that but I think the principle is sound...............................Ars did a piece on this a couple of weeks back.

you are a special kind of evil....I want to try this lol, make sure it is videoed

better yet, write a messaage in it and let the painter paint, then watch his reaction when he reads something like "SAVE YOURSELF"
