Here where I work, NO ONE really understands the kind of passion I have towards knives, not one bit, they all feel that it is a little over the edge...pun intended...

So I was thinking tonight....what if we worked in a big place with lots of people and they were ALL people from BladeForums!
What a place that would be! HAH, an amazing time would be had there....well I guess I can dream?

Knife people DO find each other, though. It just so happens that I used to work for my father's technical writing firm. During one of our visits to a client site, my father introduced me to one of the employees there he thought I might like to meet, since this gentleman shared my obsession with knives. That man was, of course, our own G2, who, at my father's request, crafted a superb horizontal belt sheath for an EDI Genesis folder that was a gift from my dad to me.

Sadly, we can't all work surrounded by fellow Knife People. But we find each other just the same.

And tomorrow when you wake up it will be worse.

I've found no one at UW who is as obsessed as I am. One nice thing about BFC is it allows us to find people all around the world, as well as in our own back yards!

Russ I thought the same thing....not a lot of work would get done unless knife related....so maybe we should all work in a knife related industry?

Razoredj, I remember that, what a nice thing your dad did for you, you are right there are connections being made all the time...

The place would go under in a heartbeat, Gary.

Tim Herman would do sub-standard work and demand $1200 an hour for his wages. Spark and Kelly would likely disagree to the point of fisticuffs on whether we use PayPal or not. And Vampire Gerbil..... let's not even go there.

Lunch hour at Hooters would likely be a Hoot, though.

Gary

We could build a very big Knife Store in
central United States an everybody could go to work there, but then who would buy our knives.

Seems to me that the frequency of workplace "accidents" would sky-rocket .... and so would emergency room bills!
