Say, I have been wondering about the choice to run RWL34 at RC59. Do you also run your Damasteel knives at the same hardness? And do you have an opinion on running them harder, which seems to have become a trend for a lot of other companies?

We just found running RWL34 at RC59 is the best balance. Our damasteel is the same hardness since it has RWL34 in the mix. We will probably make them RC63-64 if we decide to use M390 or other steels.

Haha me too. I asked Jim at African sporting creations if I could just buy the timascus Imamba but he wouldn’t
