Howdy,
It's been brought to our attention that servers in the UK cannot access Imgur. That includes photos stored on Imgur and linked to in posts on BladeForums. So if you are posting from the UK, you won't be able to see pictures which are posted on BladeForums by linking to to files stored on Imgur. Pictures stored directly on BF are not affected, nor are pictures stored on other hosting sites. As far as we know, this currently only affects pictures stored on Imgur.

There is nothing that BF can do about this. There is nothing in the BF settings which can overcome the Imgur block.
To the best of our knowledge, only servers in the UK are affected by the Imgur block. This means that UK members who are using VPN's and servers in other countries would not be affected.

From September 30, 2025, access to Imgur from the United Kingdom is no longer available. UK users will not be able to log in, view content, or upload images. Imgur content embedded on third-party sites will not display for UK users.
Online, UK users speculate that this is due to the Online Safety Act, which went into effect in July. The act has resulted in wide-ranging age verification, requiring users to submit identification, such as a government ID or undergo a facial recognition scan, in order to access explicit and sometimes non-explicit sites.

Why Imgur is blocked in the UK
The image-sharing site Imgur is now inaccessible in the United Kingdom.
