Imitation Ivory

K&G Finishing supplies offers an eopxy based imitation ivory scales.
Has anyone used this, were their problems getting a good finish and what
do you use to finish it.

It's soft, but breaks easily.
Works easily, and looks great when finished. Sand to 400 grit, polish with 0000 steel wool, and buff with green compound. A 1725 RPM buffer works much better than a 3600 RPM.

What Bill said....+ use new belts, go easy on the buffing as you can burn it easy....
