... is the Bandicoot.

Mine is the most heavily used Busse family knife I have, even before the AD and the Sarsquatch. It has dressed a lot of fish, and the handle is grippy even when covered with fish slime and blood. It has also handled many miscellaneous chores. It is the perfect size for so many uses and would be my hunting knife if it weren't for the AD. It is always in my truck along with the Sarsquatch.

I would add the SOB, I have now field dressed 4 deer with one-awesome-underrated and has quickly become one of my favorites

Knife hunter.... you lucky mofo.

I saw someone post about an INFIcoot a long while back. Have yet to see one for sale anywhere. Not even on JD by the name we do not speak. Haha

I have seen the bandicoot mentioned a time or two but you're right not a lot of fanfare. I think this thread may have the first picture of one I've ever noticed

Compared to the bandicoot, the SS4 has a very similar in blade shape with the 411 trailing behind a bit, just the latter two have mudder handles instead. I believe they are all good candidates for a small knife solution.

Forest goats over run my AO on a regular basis... not much but a nuisance, eating my hay and busting my electric fencing for valuable livestock containment and I am not alone in that predicament. Of course that is the non-native whitetails I refer to, the very welcome muley's are almost nowhere to be found here where they used to be plentiful.

I tried to like the Bandicoot. Got one, used it for a bit and never took to it. Sold it and tried another Bandicoot a year or so later with same results.

Now the Gen 1 Howling Rat...got it back in 2006 and it's still going strong.
