I have been wanting one of these for a loooooooong time. Was very unhappy that they went out of production and the only ones I've seen available have been beat to death and the seller is always asking too much. Someone at KA-BAR must be clearing out old boxes because they just showed up on clearance. I about fell out of my chair when I saw it. Snagged one and can't wait for it to get here! I think I got the last one as they show out of stock now. Sorry, but wow, I can't believe I stumbled onto it.

WTF is an Impact Tanto? Sounds like some sort of Japanese jack hammer. Seriously though. Pics. More seriouslyly why does no one big up the ZK Tanto? That thing is off its effing lid! §lice will back me up on this one. I LOVE that blade. Hey Haze, did I mention pics? Now? Yeps. Now.
well, yes, tantos, by design, pierce among other things. They can also be also very good slicers. Tantos are in general weird to me - some of my favorite knives are tantos, but some I really don't like. All about the balance of the blade in the end. This one looks to be quite handy size-wise and really, who gives a darn, if it's a blade I like its a blade I like and I finally got one new for a good price!
