My son's brother in law works at a shop that makes heavy duty circuit boards out of G10 and the guys were wondering just how strong the stuff was. Andy asked for a piece of scrap and said he would perform some "tests"
Anyway he brought a piece of 5/8" thick 6" X 12" to my kids house this week end and they "tested" it with a 357 and a 44 mag using factory hunting ammo. Dam that stuff is tough -- neither one did more than make big pock marks in it and the back side was still smooth.
I don't think you guys that use it for handles have much worry about brakeage
