Impala discontinued?

I saw on the Spyderco site that the Impala has been discontinued. Now would be a great time to introduce the larger Pro-grip discussed earlier.

Only the PE with guthook seems to be discontinued, not the PE without and the SE with guthook. That's kinda strange.

I'll get mine tomorrow. UPS found a closed door so I've re-directed them to my work. That gut-hook really does it for me... Quick delivery, well within a week, transcontinental. I'll tell you what it's like soon.

Nice... A serious piece of G10 and VG10 for - now - reasonable money. VERY reasonable if you don't need to pay almost double the price due to shipping and taxes like poor me. Surprisingly light due to the G10 scales. After a drop of oil on the pivot and slight adjustment of the torx-nut, it's slippery-smooth yet locks very solid. That gut-hook is stunning - in all its uselessness for city-folks like myself! Although... Cutting a seatbelt would be a possible task for it...?
