Here is a Bowie and Sheath that I just finished up. The stag looked great, but had a little twist to it and was a little small at the guard end. I started to wait until I could find a better piece, but I have never been known for having much patience. (Just ask my family:o )

Forged 5160
Stainless "S" Style Guard
Bronze Ferrule
"Twisted" Stag
Stainless Butt Cap
OAL - 13 7/8"
Blade - 9 1/2" Tip to Guard

Thanks for looking........ Robert

I think you did it justice. Knife makers don't take no for an answer. I'll make this work or die trying is a common phrase heard in this shop.

That's fantastic!!!!! I'm going to be watching for new Bowie's that come up for sale by you. Great work.

Looking good Robert. How did you do the false edge?
I did it almost like a certain yank showed me, except that I haven't mounted a file to a stone holder yet. I roughed it in on a grinder, and finished it on my Edge-Pro.

Thanks for the tip Tom. Anytime you get a few makers together, you can't help but pick up a few tricks.
