Imper1al 225h ?

My IMPER1AL is a two blade, jack knife measuring 5.25" closed, the shield is marked "DE" (Sharpleigh Hardware Co.) three pin with brass a liner. The tang mark was used from 1956 -1988.

The 255H was produced 1957 - 1975 but the tang is not marked "225H" so is it a different model or a 225H?

Anyone have one of these or know more than me about this knife?

It's an Imperial DE (Not Shapleigh). Imperial obtained rights to the Diamond Edge name.

The pattern is a 322DE with stainless steel blades. Made in the early 1970's.

The 322DE shown does not have a lanyard hole ? Did some come with and with out hole for thong ?

Apparently so! I had one once and it did not have the lanyard hole.
