Imperial Apex steel?

I've had an Imperial Apex knife for about 2 or 3 years now. I've really used this knife a good deal, now I'm wondering what kind of steel it is, because it holds an edge real well for a inexpensive knife. You know, the made in Ireland knives? Nice knives for the $$$. All I know is that this knife is a real great value, and that there is no need for made in China trash because for just a little bit more money you can get a decent knife like this.
