Found this sweet old Imperial at the fleamarket this morning. I don't know what to really call this pattern...Equal end stockman? Cigar stockman?

only took about an hour to get rid of the chip in the Sheepsfoot and re grind the main blade...
overall she's in decent shape but the main has a little bit of pin wear I suspect, but she'll do just fine as a gentle occasional user for me.

thanks for looking...

Nice save!I love the bone on the old Imperials & that one's got some mighty fine old bone.

Duane,

That's an Imperial cattleman. Good knives, quite a few of us have them.

Wow! You did a great job on that spear point! Very well done! It actually looks longer!

Nice find, Duane! That knife really has great character. The patina and the bone just look great.

You put that Oldie back to duty. Thanks for sharing :)

Fantastic job repairing those blades Duane, the knife looks great, and that old bone...sweet!

Great Job on the make over Duane. That is the best part of finding an old abused knife. Adding years of use back into them. For me, more fun than actually using them. I have a few in my collection, and they mean more to me than the ones that I bought new.

Blessings,

Omar

Good find and a nice work. Now if you find to many to safe and rescue let us know and we can put up an adoption service ;)
