Imperial BSA Question

Won this last night to add to my son's collection. He likes his Imperials and his Ulster BSA so I thought he would like an Imperial BSA(Prov USA marked). I'll give it to him as a reward for earning his TOTE'N'CHIP,a Cub Scout "permit to carry".

Well,any way on to my question. Does anyone know the timeframe in which this 5 bade could have been made? I don't recall seeing a BSA with a philips screwdiver when I was a Scout in the late 70's. So I am guessing 80-87 ?

Made for ski troops during the war I understand; the parts carried over for some time after the war.

When you get the knife, check the stamp against the chart:

I saw a couple of these in sold Ebay lists, they were both stamped with the 1956 to 1988 stamp, so that is a pretty broad stroke, but they could have made that knife with an earlier stamp too.
