If anyone owns an imperial h6 or utica sportsman fixed blade let's see them .
Let me start by saying that I don't actually own one yet ( It should be here sometime in the next couple of weeks )
When I was around 12 my dad gave me his old imperial hatchet which he got as a prize for newspaper sales in the 8th grade. It used to be a husky camp set, but sadly the knife was taken or lost by one of his brothers while he was off in the army. I've wanted " whatever the missing knife is " for a long time, but have wanted one even more since discovering what it was.
I just love the looks of the h6 so much, they're such a simple, straight, and clean looking knife that reminds me of a cowboys belt knife.
I didn't think I'd ever get hold of one, either from holding out in the hopes that the original would be located, not being an eBay user, or just not finding one abroad for a good price as I know that they aren't worth much ( I never even saw one anywhere )
Luckily I spotted one in a lot of finds by a forum member who offered me first pic and even saved it for me. And it's in about average shape and basically has all of its edge left.
So if anyone has one I'd like to see it. if not I'll just do updates on the Knife and what it needs to become a user, as well as the sheath issue ( cheap old leather missing it's strap ) as I may make a cowboy style sheath for it.
