G'day, While I was digging out the Boy Scout Chow Kits I came across these Jack-Master Motormans' Tool Kits.....by Imperial. Can you imagine being broken down on the Freeway and you announce to your passengers 'Never Fear I have my Imperial Jack-Master Motormans' Tool Kit handy'....and you produce one of these to fix the problem!?.....almost reminds me of my wedding night.......photos for info..does Lrv know if these are from the 1950's or 1960's?...Cars were bigger and Tool kits were smaller appearantly...Hoo Roo

Hey Larry, have you ever seen a smaller Imperial 3-pc kit like these? I bought one though it too is only in California at this point and still not in my hands. I mentioned it in another thread. The case I got with it is smaller and I do believe authentic. It does not appear to be missing anything. I like the old-school '60s MOP handles a lot. I'm thinking 3-pc is cheaper than 5 and maybe "Value Engineering" ordered these SFO to give away and told Imperial to "go-cheap" and shrink the kit for them. Maybe Imperial never sold a 3-pc without someone's name on it. I don't know...
