Imperial Kitchen knives? Are they actually made by the Imperial pocket knife company?

I went rummage saleing/thrift store trawling and came up with two Imperial kitchen knives. One is actually a carving knife set. The knife is marked: "Imperial Stainless USA". The handles are stainless with a floral stamped into it. It came with a matching fork but the fork is unmarked. The other one is a bread knife with plastic handle scales. It also, unusually, has a bolster and the blade is marked: "The Professionals" Below that "MADE IS USA by Imperial. And it list the size of the bread knife to the right of the other two markings.
Do you guys know anything about this company? Also, Let me know if you want pictures.
