I like that. I would imagine that these hung on many a Boy Scout’s or camper’s belt back in the day!

What a pair f knives! And still together with the sheath, that is just amazing. Congratulations on a great find!
Thanks, Neal

I was going to say, I couldn't have carried the folder that wasy for fear of losing it, till HB pointed out the keeper strap.
Very cool; I've never seen that setup, never mind that setup intact.

Very good find of a cool set. Pure Americana - makes me nostalgic for my Boy Scout days in the 60's. OH

I can't remember if I posted this when I found it but I think that I didn't. Anyway, I got this at a flea market for $15 and thought that some people might like to see it. An interesting matched pair.

I carry the imperial H6 fixed blade is bought off if you all the time.
It was a replacement for the missing one that came with my dad's hatchet.
I still want a Kamp king, but I'm sure I'll end up with one at some point.
I know I've posted pictures of this knife often, but here's an example of what can the H6 can look like if you get creative it if you drop it on the garage floor breaking a scale like I did, as well as when the sheath is too old to save.

I personally wouldn't carry the two in a combo like this if I had them both, but I carry mine as an EDC which is a different ball game than camping... ect.

I love it , I think that what you did with the handle is perfect. Quality but not fancy, it's perfect for that knife. And I'm sure it is an upgrade from the original handle.

Thanks.
I didn't mind the original, but wood is better than delrin.
On this knife the scales were solid delrin, but on my dad's hatchet from the mid 70's the scales were a hollow plastic with ribbing inside.
It doesn't really show in the picture, but I also made a different guard for it with a contoured shape because I wasn't huge on the flaking chrome of the original.
