I have a Imperial knife I bought when I was a kid in the 80s,I can't find any info on it.It was my favorite knife growing up. It is slightly smaller than a Buck 110,has Olive green plastic scales that used to have a Camouflage pattern on them that has since worn off,It is a lock back, and has a camouflage sheath. It has a clip point blade that is flat ground and has a swedge grind only on one side of the bladeThe Handle has finger grooves. The stampings on the blade are IMPERIAL under that is stainless.Under the brand and stainless markings are USA 5715. I bought it at Walmart over 20 years ago.thanks for any help.

Thanks Thawk that's it:DAny Idea what the blade steel could be?

If you've worn the camo off, then you have used it enough to see a patina if it is carbon steel. If it's still shiny, it's stainless.

I believe those were 440C blades, although there's a slight possibility they were 440A.

I don't know if this was supposed to be sarcastic or not.I full well know that the blade is stainless, it says right on it.(original post).Ea 42 answered my question. If your reply wasn't meant to be sarcastic then please disregard this reply. Thanks.:)
