Anyone think they will re release the Imperial Tai Pan? Anyone here lucky enough to own one?

Doubtful but you never know, they did see how well the Vintage San Mai was selling and reintroduced it. Always wanted one but jeez I would have to get a second mortgage on the house. I feel lucky enough snagging an Emperor Collection a while back. Well actually I just picked up another set(love that unique San Mai Mini Tanto) but just the knives and sheaths with Authentication Letter.

I doubt it. There were only 500 of them made, a limited edition. I saw one in person when they were first released and was very tempted. The asking price at the time was $600.

I have one I’ve considered selling a couple times. From what I understand, Cold Steel had planned to release 1,000: but stopped at 500 due to cost of production, so re-release is unlikely. Gorgeous knife
