Found a knife today I'm thinking about picking up, but haven't seen one before...
It's an Imperial (U.S.A) fixed blade. I'm guessing it's around 10 inches overall.
The funny thing is it has the same handles on it as the UH'S do.
Also has Kit Carson on the blade on one side.
Anyone have any info on this knife?

I think I answered my own question. Wasn't thinking before I posted this, should have done a search first.. Sounds to be fairly rare but not very collectible...

I have a couple of these I picked up off ebay for around $10 bucks give or take no sheaths though. very cool knife I used one of the blades for a custom knife, shape feels great in the hand.- Joel

I have several knives made for Sears which have blades almost definately made by Imperial (plain ground with Imperial type tangs), but with "Staglon" handles and shields very "Schrade-like". I haven't found one in a box yet to get a positive I.D. of year and Sears pattern number, but they (and the Kit Carson and a few others) do show us that Imperial was using the Staglon on some fixed blades before Baer bought out the company.
