When it comes to the old ones like 50s and 60s which do you prefer. i have a 30s hammer brand scout knife and an imperial kamp-King, and they are both great knives. I am currently edcing the kamp King, but I have edc'd the other. I also have 2 colonials. I has the exact same tools as my kamp King+ a corkscrew and it is red. The other is a white handled one with a blade and a cap lifter. I do not currently own a Camillus, but my friend has a Camillus cub scouts knife that I covet. I'm just interested I. Your opinions on these classic brands of sharpened steel :)

I got no problem with either of those, but the old Camillus stuff always grabs my attention.

Don't exactly know why, but that's the way it's been since back when I was a young'un.

Camillus- Solid Quality knives (until recent corporate re-branding). The old pre-1960's stuff is excellent. Camillus also marked their cheap stuff under the CAMCO line.
Imperial- A cheaper knife for those who couldn't afford a Camillus or Case back in the 1930's
Colonial- Cheapo knives used to be made here in the USA, back when we were to Europe as China is to the USA. The Colonials I have seen tend to be made with pot-metal parts.
