If this is answered somewhere already forgive me and direct me there please! I promise that I looked before posting this...
When you take apart the Impinda do the pieces just fit back together like a Sebenza or do you have to compress the spring like a traditional slipjoints to get the knife back together?

I have not owned one.

If not already done. I'd think Tim will put out a proper video like the other models.

They have done the Sebenza, Umnum, Inkosi and Mnandi a few months ago. Sorry for thinking out loud !?

I think you are correct about the “official” video coming, but I was just hoping to get a preview. I can’t believe no one has posted a take down video yet! I keep waiting for one to stay in stock long enough for me to buy it, and then I could answer my own question and post a video too:)

I handled one at a show in Nov. It's very nice.

The name should be changed. Sounds to close to impedance. Lol. I guess it’s appropiate as it doesn’t lock so it can go limp. Lol.

Build like a sandwich, like the Inkosi/Umnumzaan. It goes together fairly easily, I was a bit surprised I didn’t have more difficulty. Yes, you need to get the blade tensioned against the back spring but if you’re careful it’s not all that hard. Push the back spring a bit with your thumb and get the blade in there. Then drop the other scale on and tighten until it’s centered.

I use a heavier Krytox GPL 206 grease since it’s a slipjoint and has some friction already. Plays nicely.
