I have a strong history with Ti framelocks. It has been a long time since I have picked anything up in this "sub-genre", but Vincent recently sent me this F Barlow by Max. I really like it!!! Here are several pics of it along with some of the other Ti knives that I like. For some additional info: Some areas of mill-relief on the inside of the frame make sure to keep the overall package nice and light. The pocket clip is streamline, and very pocket-friendly. These run on single-row bearings, and the action is super smooth. It can be flipped / flicked open, but the nail-nick also allows for a traditional opening like a lot of us know and love. There is even a light "half-stop" that can be felt if opening slowly with the nick. The lock-bar has a hardened steel insert (replaceable!!!) that acts as the interface with the blade tang ... this will ensure stable performance and long life. The finish is great, and so is the fit ... these interchangeable scales mate very well to the frame. The screws appear to be hardened, and have performed well as I have repeatedly tested them by switching them out multiple times. In all honesty, this is an unbelievable value for a high quality Ti frame-lock with premium steel. The versatility and customization puts it on a completely different level. If you have been holding off due to any other reason besides having no knife budget ... pick one of these up. NOW!

It has a beautiful blade shape and finish, very nice knives all around!

Who makes the knife on the far left in the top pic? Also, is that a mbk ezc with smooth scales? I thought they all had a groove in the middle.

Thanks for your interest. Indeed, Max is making some really fantastic knives. I am always excited to see what he comes up with next! If you have not already, don't hesitate to grab some of his pieces. VCM3 VCM3 at https://vcmcustomknives.com/ will hook you up with some Good Stuff!!!

The other knife, with smooth/sterile scales that you mentioned is a custom by Ray Laconico. It is the model which the production MBK EZC is based upon. Thanks again for reaching out.

Hi Knivolf,I'm so glad you like my F Barlow. Yes, the screws were hardened and they even broke two of my Wera screwdrivers...
