I recently came into possession of a carbon fiber handled Dragonfly, plain edge, with many thanks to our own Marion David Poff (a great fella to deal with, thanks, MD!). I must say that I am quite impressed with the quality and solid feel of a rather small knife. Admittedly, I bought it as an alternate "airline" knife rather than constantly risking my small Sebenza (tired of "playing the odds") and I'm quite glad I did! I've handled the zytel handled versions several times at gun and knife shows, but was unprepared for how nice the carbon rendition would be. If anyone is interested in a knife the size of a Dragonfly, I highly recommend tracking down one of these jewels, you won't regret it. Great job, Spyderco!
On the downside, my wife is now trying to con me into swapping the carbon Dragonfly for her micarta Calypso Jr., because the Dragonfly is "cuter", the size more suitable to her purse and uses, and she thinks the carbon fiber is cool. Her generous concession is to swap back whenever I have to travel by air. I told her I'll have to think about it. Does Spyderco Customer Service offer arbitration services for spouses for situations such as this?

The pen is mightier than the sword...outside of arm's reach. Modify radius accordingly for rifle.
