I just wanted to tell you guys how impressed I am with the new optional handle for the ESEE Izula II. I am not referring to the micarta slabs that you can buy that cut off before the carabiner hole, but the one that goes all the way down to the end of the handle.
One of the things that bothers me about a lot of knives today is that the ergonomic handles really only function well in one position of cutting. If anyone has spent 6 hours carving with chest lever cuts and varying grips, however, you quickly learn that the ergonomic handles also tear your hands to shreds and can make your hands feel all bruised up. The handle on the new Izula II, however, with all its curvature is really comfortable to use - even over extended periods of time.
Well done. I have tested the ESEE 3, 5 and Izula and I can honestly say that the Izula II w/ handle is my favorite knife that you have made thus far. It simply feels the most natural. Keep up the good work.
