This is my first Boker. I bought it as an inexpensive replacement for a more expensive knife I sent in to the factory for servicing. Now, I am not sure what I am going to do once I get the other knife back! The Trance is a really nice knife for the price!

I don't think I need to re-hash the many reviews from others. Only thing for me was I had to loosen the pivot screw just a tad to help with flicking the blade with the flipper and it also smoothed out the opening of the blade with the thumbstuds.

I do wonder if anyone can tell me if the pivot washers are made of Delrin? Not a big deal, just curious.

I'll keep an eye out for future designs/models. A Trance with a S30V blade with titanium frame and G-10 scale would be da bomb! ;)

Hi tex,
I am with you on theTrance. Isn't it a great combo = wide knife but very thin.
Which blade did you get?

You know, it's quite easy to change scales on this knife.
I have fitted G10 to my Trance and now with my NEW drop point version I am in the process of putting orange G10 scale on it.

Washers = white plastic???

Hey gw,

I got that original Trance not the DP. I used some membership reward points from my AmEx card to purchase it so it didn't cost me any $$ but that meant purchasing it through their list of partner sellers which didn't have the new DP. I'm stilll pleased with it.

Now I think I may actually pay some $$ for one of those new Hyper or M-Type knives coming out soon.
