UPS just delivered my new SEAL SOG Revolver knife (thanks Chris):) and I have to admit I am very impressed with the workmanship and the way it looks.

I went over this one with a fine tooth comb and can not find anything I do not like about the knife.

I plan to do some cutting soon and I will report back in.

NPH, I am still impressed.

I will wait until another reviewer (Dylside) post his Review of this knife before I tell my story.........hopefully with pics because I am getting a new camera soon.......my first digital ever. :o

I'm not going to go into any details prior to the big review, but I will say this, BUY ONE! Get the Hunter unless you like serrations, but either way, add this to you pack. Absolutely awesome piece of kit!
 
How are they different from the old revolvers? My old hunter revolver is still going strong after years of heavy yard work. :thumbup:
 
Hello Socintel, long time no see......:D

I wondered about you a while back.

The difference in the new version is China made and 440 stainless compared to the version you have.

From what I am hearing, the new version seems to be doing very well in terms of performance.

It has a bit grippier handle but the sheath is not as good as the older models.....overall though I really like them and they are much less expensive.

Good to hear from you. Glad your Revolver is still going strong.......mine is too. :D
