It's been awhile since I read this workbook sized text, so you Doce Pares folks can tell me if the books been updated. This is a good bargain for beginners, in fact just about everything on the site is a good bargain. Offhand, this book goes well with any of Doce Pares material and the books by the Presas family.
The olisi drills and the stick throw section that aren't seen in a lot of FMA books. There about 3 stick throws/takedowns from Aikido, hence the Eskrido presence. The Olisi drills follow and are layed out in enough pics so that the beginner can follow. Purists won't like the empty hand vs stick drill section because it has more of a karate and aikido flavor, that is lower stances with aikido locks and FMA parries and less on mobility.
