Hello all. I just received a Rockstead Higo with YXR7 steel for Christmas. Great gift, right? This knife is frickin fantastic. It is an absolute work of art. Fit and finish are both perfect. Blade centering is perfect. There is no blade play at all. Even with the blade closed the blade is tight. The build quality is on a level that I did not expect from something so mundane as a folding knife. The beauty of this knife cannot be overstated. Anyone who is considering this knife, if you have the cash to spend, do not hesitate. I am beyond thrilled.
 
The build quality of a Rockstead's is on par, if not superior to any mid-tech or custom that I have handled.
 
Have not had the pleasure to own one, but I've handled a few Rocksteads at the New York show. I definitely want to pick one up.
