The CSAR is pulling me back to it.

For those who have been carrying it for a while what are your overall impressions? Would you buy it again?

They seem to be coming down in price but I don't see many for sale used. Makes me think they aren't selling many but that the people who buy them are keeping them.

Been carrying a Cold Steel Black Rhino some lately. Like it a lot but miss not having a Buck on me.

I like mine and have been considering buying a second one. I wonder how long they will offer it myself. It is a huge folder and thick blade, but I love ATS-34, and its a "bulletproof" knife design. I carry it out hunting for if the SHTF but havent actually used it. It gets alot of carry time so far. Hopefully my compass and GPS get me out of the woods, and I dont need the CSAR for anything major :D I have larger fixed blades, but I find I don't like to carry them as often, and go without. The CSAR folds up compact enough, I don't have a reason to not have it with me!

Got mine in the mail today. It's a beast! Like it a lot on first impression. Locks up tight and feels good. Came nice and sharp, blade opens very nicely for something so large, it's a bit off center but I think that's just a function of the design and the huge lock on it. Doesn't hit the side so I'm good with it.

Will replace the Cold Steel Black Rhino I had been carrying with it for the times I want something larger than the Vantage in my pocket. Will be nice to have a large Buck for those times.

Not happy that the drive kit for them is imported but you can't have it all. It is pretty nice though and I got a deal on the driver so am good to go with it.

I have 2 of them and like them well enough. They pocket carry well in heavy duty work pants like Carhart, but it is too heavy IMO for the lighter tactical "contractor" pants or BDU/ACU pants. I really think Bucks should do an Alpha with Bravo style G10 scales and pocket clip. That would be a decent tactical folder that would carry fine in regular pants.

I own three of them now. I have one Factory Sharp in my backpack for hunting and I carry one of them on my day off when I am wearing shorts or jeans. Usally I carry my reverse clip 186 at work as the CSAR is heavy when I wear dress pants. I love this knife and let me tell you it's TOUGH.

YESTERDAY I heard that BUCK Tops is coming out with a FIXED blade (based on this design) from the folks in the BUCK Factory store. I will buy a FEW of those also....

Just received mine today, man is it a sweet knife. This thing is a solid beast, feels like it can take whatever I dish out to it, I'm very impressed! Nice sheath too, comes ready with a strap to attach it to my Maxpedition pack. Loving it!

I would like to have a fixed blade csar-t!!

Finally got a csar-t over esee/dpx hest folder. And very happy I did, what a knife. Good balance and big grip area. Nice sharp thick blade. Not sure why its not more or a seller. For a USA made knife with it's features and specs, I don't know of a better value out there! The sheath has 3-4 different carry options. Very happy customer. And if they make a fixed blade version i will be getting one as well.

Carried it in my jeans this weekend and I like it! Carries well. I hate to leave the Vantage at home but feel better then carrying the large Cold Steel that I had defaulted to when I wanted a beefier knife.

Great knife for the money in my mind.
