Impressions of the Spyderco Native, a Video.

Thanks guys!

Not looking to do tooo many more reviews, but you never know! I've been mainly doing music for my family and friends.. and it is REALLY fun.. once the account is set up, uploading videos is a snap! I do plan on doing some sketch comedy and fun stuff...
There are a few dudes who already do great reviews, and are more collectors than I am, and I'll let those guys keep on keepin' on... to name a few:

cutlerylover, nutnfancy, coltrane811... these guys are good!

From me...I don't know what will come next!

archieblue, how about I move this to Knife Reviews & Testing? Your call.

Maybe a lot of talk, but a good intro for people who want to know if they'd be interested in knives. I think more YouTube reviews from you would be a good thing.

Your words speak volumes to people out there who do not understand why knives are so practical. Please do more. :)

great video:thumbup: i have the native and i love it too, its such a simple design and great for the price

woah... THANKS for the positive comments fellas!

Esav.. You're prolly right.. I put it here because even though the vid centers around the Native, the comparisons with the other knives and general topic of "carry" is also a more or less covered issue. If you are cool with it, I'd like it to stay here and I promise to put the next one in Reviews & Testing..

And THANKS again for the feedback so far, folks!!

good job, very informative.

might i add that i have a Native with a Stainless Steel handle, C41PS, and comes with a VG10 blade, and is made in Seki, Japan.

i would say it looks way better with the SS handle.

"knife knut", OK
"Steel junkie", Yup.
"Knife dork"??? Ah... NO. I am not a "knife dork".

Great review. I agree with you pretty much on all your points. I'm a minimalist as well, and it took me a while to like the Native.

Please do more reviews. I your no-nonsense style.

I thought the "knife dork" thing might strike a sensitive chord... Thing is... I AM a knife dork. You could ask anyone I know... They don't "get" my enthusiasm for these tools... They'd say "yup... Arch is a knife dork... he he he" I used the term tongue in cheek, and as an ice breaker for someone looking to heckle a could-be "mall ninja." That and as a reminder to not take myself toooooo seriosly. ...besides, chicks dig a guy who can laugh at himself!

Very good, archieblue! Hope to see more video reviews from you in the future.

That's my first Spyderco, and the beginning of my addiction. My problem is that I graduated UP in price. "Knife Dork" fits me. :)
