Impromptu Outing

Last week there was a bit of a break in the weather so after work we grabbed some grub and wood and went to one of our favorite spots of a quick fire and dinner. To dark to take too many pictures so here are some gear testing shots, and an Google Earth image of the spot. Had a great time, nice break in the week! Gotta try to get out as much as possible!

Location, really cool spot. Quite busy in the summer but not too bad. Neat trail network and cool First Nations middens. We were about halfway up the spit.

Damn I need to go to bed. I looked at the Google earth shot & was trying to figure out what food it was . . . :yawn:
Those Esbit stoves are handy to keep with you, works with the tablets or some twigs. Thanks Westcoaster for the shots, glad you enjoyed it.
