Finished this up this morning, I used tan canvas micarta on this one.

Specs:
9 3/8" overall
5" blade
1/16" thick 440C steel

John, you are on the right track! It's about accentuating the point (that's why we like Tanto blades so much). I like the grind on this knife as well.
