I believe these are the only years of the model #48 with the wharncliffe and clip blades together ? 2013 five different, 2017 seven different, 2024 only 1 version.
I hope some pictures are posted here as the pictures are gone from a lot of the earlier threads. Any version of the Wharncliffe with the clip blade only please and thank you.
I’ll start with the only one I have.
Perfection, . . . the excellent, best of the best (see line above), the 2024 Special Factory Order Smooth Blackwood. Mine is the nicest in the universe (I've checked around, it is. Before you ask, I control a wormhole). The wood on mine is dark until you look close, there are veins of lighter colored wood which are amazing. I just love the way the wharncliffe adds to the overall appearance. Reminds me of a tear drop handle. And the swedges, O ! the swedges. Fantastic ! The 48 is absolutely unequivocally my new favorite GEC.
