How To Improving new BK-7 sheath

I just received my new Becker BK7 this week. I love the knife, but not so much the sheath. It's an improvement over the earlier ones I think but the knife rattled like a bb in a box car inside the sheath. The only way to stop it was snap down the button strap otherwise the knife fell right on out it you held it any way but straight up. So.......... I cut a thick piece of kydex 1.5 inches longer than the blade and slid it into the sheath until it bottomed out (almost as wide as the blade). I marked the top of the sheath on the kydex with a silver sharpie. Then I took a welders vicegrip clamp and held it at the silver line. I heated the kydex with my heat gun and slowly bent the kydex at the mark. When I could bend it I slid the kydex into the sheath, ;put the blade part way in to back it and bent the kydex down at the top of the sheath. I held the soft kydex down with the face of a rawhide mallet until it cooled. That took up just enough space so the knife is nice and snug. Now I can hold the sheath upside down, shake it, and the knife stays in place but it stlll draws out and goes in easily but firmly. I am very happy with the way it fits and I don't have to use the snap strap.
