Anybody else out there noticed that these little thermal bags that you get get in the frozen foods section of some grocery stores can make good improvised short term coolers the will fold up and fit in a pack? They're perfect for... say times when you want to take your lady down to a secluded area of the river's shore and have a nice bottle of wine and some summer sausage and gouda cheese on wheat crackers or something.

Have something the same in my car and at home helps when your shopping and the Heat or the Cold will spoil the produce an other use is for Camera's or to fill with other stuff IE water.
If you have a Fleece/wool blanket/Towel or something to act as a insulator will extend the time/Temp.

Thanks, I thought it worked out pretty good and I was thinking another internal layer would extend the time, even thought about an external layer of a more natural colored material instead of the bright blue also.

Thanks, the knife is a knife that I drew up that Bryan Breeden made. There is more on it in this thread if you want to check it out.
