I was walking through the local Walmart this evening and came across a $15 blade that I just couldn't pass up.

Drumroll......

The Kershaw Shuffle. What a compact good little blade. I like the feel of the new "K texture" that's on the handle along with choil built into the blade stock. I'm also proud to report the bottle opener works (Newcastle). The clip does come tight, but that's nothing a pair of pliers can't adjust.

I see this knife being a great companion for my truck/toolbox. For 15 bucks, you can't beat it. Nice job KAI.

Welp, gonna have to pick up a few I think.

Just think, if ZT built a high-end bruiser with a bottle opener on it, half of us would move to Oregon to line up outside the factory doors to help build the damn thing.

*Kai, Cough, Kai...*

Never thought about that combo. I'm more than excited for the batch of knives in production and on the "horizon" right now. I think they've really branched out and are doing a great job of hitting a lot of categories with varying budgets. Definitely pick up a few, at the cost they'll make great little gifts too. Heck, you might spread your (our) addiction on to some poor unsuspecting soul. Did I mention 15 freaking bucks? Sheesh, what a steal.

I was at my local wally world last night, nothing but a crown and leek in the case. I went by so I could enjoy a cheap impulse buy, but noooooooooooooooooo.....damn them. :grumpy: oh well one of these days ill see one of these.

Newcastle...great beer to pop your cherry! I am on my second right now!!!

Wish I never discovered Newcastle a few years ago. Mine twisted off though. Then again, I do whip out my ZT0561 to open a piece of junk mail I have no intention of reading. Bygones... XD

About the same. $10-$15. I never bought the smaller version. I had a blue and black (a friend snatched the blue one).

Haha I know a lot of people preferred the blue scales. I think the black ones still look classier.

that's what I saw em for last night at mine. down from 14.99 to 11. Still not enough to make me grab it.

I hear ya. But you can't deny that $11 for a KAI product is an outstanding value. I can barely get a decent lunch for under ten bucks these days.

You're absolutely right! My apologies, buddy. Here's a pic of this tiny awesomeness

I love this thing...

Touche. On the downside, my fiancé just claimed it. "Oh that's nice and small... And it opens beer?! MINE!" Back to Walmart I go.

I really like my $15 goodness, but love me some Newcastle. Got my son hooked on it when he was visiting last time from the Air Force.

between the thermite, injection, and the shuffle, i am ready to attempt to scrape up some cash and buy some knives, now to start scraping!!
