I've got twenty bucks to burn and I want a cool bit of suvival gear. I thought about a Mora, peanut lighter, another ferro rod, magnesium bar, or some 550 cord but I can't help but think that there's something really cool I'm forgetting about. I want something to use in either my PSK or my regular gear. Any ideas?

Pencil sharpener. Haha

If you want something often overlooked that is well worth the $20, look at Tru-nord compasses. I've had mine since '05 and it is better looking with some age.

You should be able to spend $20.00 at countycomm.com pretty fast, they have some really neat stuff there.

Great tip -- those are great.

Just surf County Comm for a bit and your cart will be full before you know it.

The BCB Mini Work Tool, also known as the Credit Card Survival Tool, is a credit card size stainless steel multi-tool packed with features. $5.95

I've got one of those! I bought it back in the 70's!
Mine has a woodland camo cover. :)
