in a hurry to find a place where i can buy knifes in the area of the black forest

That Sog isn't really a German blade and nothing I'd hang on a wall. Are you sure it's the right link?
When you are there make sure to try Schwarzwälder Kirschkuchen and Schinken. Yummy

For knives shops, just tell me which city and I can look up some for you.

Ramsperger GmbH

Just entered it in Google and it came up with a map.
If you know the model you could call or email them in advance. I don't know what the chances are that they carry this particular model. Maybe they could order it.

You could also use www.amazon.de to get a feeling for German knives prices.
Usually it's US prices plus 50% or more.

I have had that knife amongs others from the same brand. Muela is a Spanish manufacturer, and I live there.

That knife you posted takes and screaming toothy edge very easily, but loses it as fast. You won't be able to throw it, baton hardly with it (after two trips its rat-tail tang started to come loose, the handle scales won't hold up to much abuse, trust me here) or pry a lot if you intend it to survive your trip. Good corrosion resistance and sharpenability.

For minor camp chores, food prep, kindling etc. it works just fine. But for its price (between 15-30 dollars on my country, depending on model and blade length, there are many variations of this one) I'd rather take a Mora. Yeah, not so beautiful and classy looking but as effective and durable, I'd say even more than this one.

I like Muela knives and have had a few, but seeing what other options are there on the modern knife market I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it.

Just my opinion, of course. If I can be of any further help, let me know!!

Not sure I understand. Is there any reason the knife has to be purchased in Germany? I assume, since you're posting Israeli websites, that you are in Israel. Why not purchase it in Israel and bring it in checked luggage? Or buy online and have it shipped to wherever you are staying in Germany?

Ani lo mevin.

If you want to carry it legally then a fixed blade should be maximum 12cm long (guard to tip).
Double edged isn't allowed if the second edge is over 4cm.
If you need a longer blade for wood chopping for example that's fine too as long as you can explain it to the Police uncle.

Folders again max 12 cm blade and not both assisted/one hand and locking. Just one hand is OK and only locking is good too. Only both isn't allowed to carry. Not that anybody checks.

Almost all other knives are legal to own but not to carry.

Oh and at public events they don't want to see any knives, not even screwdrivers.

While the law enforcement doesn't make knife life too tough normal people will look weird at you of you have knives visibly on you.

Whenever I go I have something fixed which fits inside my pant pockets.
