Holy sheep.

I was doing some comparisons of the FSH and the NMSFNO just now over on Bussecollector.

Both are 14", 8" blade. I'm sure the FSH is a bit beefier. It's also a design that came out almost FIVE YEARS AGO. (Back when steel was cheep. . . er)

No NM treatment. Five years ago. Care to guess the original asking price of the FSH???

$327.

Dammit. I may have to get one of these silly knives! Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I noticed the same thing. I want the NMSFNO real bad for some reason too.

Yeah, the CG NMSFNO feels like a really good deal. The CGs, at least some of them, will probably be a lot thinner than the FSH, though. As far as I've seen, the FSHs tended to be .25" or more as announced, but at least the NMFBMs were sometimes a lot thinner than the announced .25". So if thick is what you're going for, the FSH would be a safer bet - except perhaps for those NMSFNOLEs...

Other than price , I can't find a good reason to buy a NMSFNO ..
I have 2 HOFSHs , I'm straight.

My FSH is a well-used specimin. Someone's flesh and dirt has smoothed the handles considerably. So it is a treat to use.

But a hand-shaped SFNO? That might feel mighty nice too.

Tough call. It's ONLY another $400. LOL

I do like it, but might be a squidge long for my normal tastes. Who knows. I'm still fence-sitting. But I like how the Bossman held prices pretty well on this one.

I'm not on the fence. The NMSFNO helped me over the fence into another pasture. Hopefully I can jump the fence again for another chunk of INFI I can use.
