I may be looking to get out of my big chopwieler and try to get into a smaller Busse 3-5". I like the looks of the GW's, but can find good pics with it in hand. Any in hand pics with smaller Busse's would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

here are the pics. the first one is my user fat game warden .270". i' really like this knife, it's a true pryzer, my pry bar razor. it'll disembowel a chigger with one flick of the wrist, and open the gate's of heel with just a good tug. it fill's the hand really well. i wear a xl glove because of my palm's, my finger's are more like large. now i don't have meat hook's like some guy's here, but i hold my own. it's size is it's greatness. you can pull this thing out in any steak house and no one even bat's an eye. it's compact, sharp, and well built!! the last four pic's are a .190" warden. this one just dosen't fill my hand's like the fatty. don't get me wrong it's nice, but i'm worried it'll roll in my hand if i start to beat on it. i hope this answer's you question.

Thanks brother, I really appreciate it. I think I would prefer the skinny one, the fatty is well, fat.

I did some more research and have narrowed it down to:

A GW
BA3
Boney or active AD
Leaner mean street

It looks like I have the best trading chance to get either a GW or AD. I figure I'm in the range of about $250-275 with my SR, unless I toss in some other stuff. I like the looks of the GW's the best, I just wish it had another 1/2" in blade length.

yeah the GW is 1/2-1 inch shorter then perfection, but otherwise I love mine, it feels so natural in hand no matter what kind of grip you prefer.

no problem, glad to help out. just go with the ad. it's a little longer and still has a nice grip on it.

If it helps you, I shot these when someone else requested AD pix in hand about a year or so ago. This is a Custom Shop AD, but the dimensions are the same lengthwise as any other AD. The only difference on this one is that the handle slabs are wood.

I have palms that are somewhat meduim sized, with long fingers.

Good Hunting! :)

Thanks Jaxx, those pics are great. I think that is the one I want, decisions, decisions. Now for some more research on finish and handles.
