In the spirit of Mistwalkers old Shrike review here's My RMJ Shrike S13 used to clean fish.

On the 1st head removal I chopped it off, on the rest of the fish I choked up on the head of the hawk and used it like an ulu. Much neater and efficient.

Slice belly, remove innards-I scraped the scales of with the main blade.

Fire started by a RAT firesteel of course.
The Hawks primary mission is breaching for emergency entrance or extraction at work. It makes a handy woods tool as well.

Nice blade, but why didn't you release those bass? In my area, those would be considered undersize and as such illegal & unethical to harvest.

Those could have been spotted bass, hard to tell in these photos. In which case there is no size limit in the State of Texas on spots. I'm betting that in his neck of the woods, those Bass are legal and there's nothing wrong with keeping legal fish. Be it Smallmouth, Largemouthl, Rainbows or whatever.

Nice post man, I love the RMJ hawks, they are quite versatile. It's nice to be honored with a review of one. The Kestrel is my favorite, but lately I've been packing along a Jenny Wren, which is very light.

Nice. I want to pick up one with the hammer poll.

The hammer polls are really sweet. I've borrowed one a couple of times, I love the way it chops.

Yep, a lot of Georgia doesn't have size limits on game fish period, in some spots it's only specific sizes that must be released, and smaller or larger may be kept. As far as spotted bass go, only Lake Lanier north of Atlanta has a size limit on those.
