I have just received a new knife (pictured below) which is a WWII !! and I would like to dedicate it to the memory of Uncle Bill and Rusty. I truly believe these two were the greatest of friends and made HI what it is today. It will soon be one year that they both left us within a few hours of each other and I feel it proper to honor them with this knife. I hope you all agree. Thank you.

E-mail sent on the little 10.5" khuk by Sgt Khadka. First one from him I've seen in a while with a regular scabbard.

Oh my goodness, that Rose and that 18" WWII are out of this world.

Sgt. Khadka special gone.

My heart said buy one of those WWII's, my billfold said "get real buddy". Still, you can never go wrong with one of the good sergeant's blades, I admire the man's work.

This is one of those Deals Of The Day where you just send Yangdu $700 and take them all! Every one of them a winner, and all useful in their own way.

What a great selection. I guess all the Junge's now are coming with a full tang?

Interesting how things develop.

Wow, those look great! I'm tapped out until after the holidays, but that is such a wonderful way to remember two excellent gentlemen.

I've been gone all afternoon; I come home and see my computer is still logged on. I hope my computer had a nice afternoon visiting with you all...

IT does my heart good to see those initials, Rusty's and Bill's, side by side.

Bill said the WWll was the most useful, best all around blade, and Rusty liked the WWll 16.5" because he was so....vertically challenged.

I still can't believe they are gone, our dear friends.
Thank goodness we are all of us here, and Yangdu is steering the ship forward.
I don't know about you, but the world and the net, would be a much colder and inhospitable place if not for the House that Bill built, and that Rusty made home.

Yes indeed.

The folks here have propped me up with their kindness through some very tough times, and offered prayers when I needed them. Not to mention just a great place to come and chat.

Munk, you are so right and said it in such a beautiful way...
Thanks Yangdu and thanks all you guys for your kindness to make this plase such a nice, soul-warming place.

I don't think the WWll's are gone yet so I'm bouncing this thread back to the top.

Very special blades.

Yangdu made earlier arrangements with me for a Bill Martino- Rusty WWll, or I would have jumped all over either of these.

I love seeing them together.

If I had the money right now, I would have got the big WW2, UB memorial Salyan, and the Cherokee Rose(I never realized they were that big!).

Is it just me, or is the big WW2, a lot 'pointier' than usual???

It does look pointy, JRK, and at 18" and 28 ounces it is absolutely perfectly balanced for work or war. What else could I possibly say? It has Bill's and Rusty's initials on it, and the tool is superb.
